About Dr Arlin Price
Consultant psychiatrist · Child and adolescent psychiatry
For current coverage and location information, see Locations & consultation coverage.
Dr Price is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr Price sees children and young people aged 6 to 25 alongside their parents, carers and families, as well as adults whose needs suit outpatient care. Appointments focus on understanding the whole picture: development, family, school or work, relationships and strengths, as well as symptoms.
Dr Price works closely with GPs, paediatricians, psychologists and schools (with consent), so the plan makes sense for everyone involved in a person’s care.
Approach
- Time to listen, without rushing
- Plain-language explanations of diagnosis and options

Fees & Medicare
These are Dr Price’s current consultation fees. You pay the full fee upfront. Medicare amounts are examples for eligible consultations; your rebate depends on the service delivered, referral and item requirements.
| Appointment | Full fee | Medicare rebate | Estimated cost after rebate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Child & adolescent initial assessment90 minutes | $950 | $268.90 | $681.10 |
| Adult initial assessment60 minutes | $750 | $268.90 | $481.10 |

| Review30 minutes | $390 | $89.30 | $300.70 |
Initial assessment fees include routine GP correspondence. Initial rebate examples use MBS item 92437 for eligible video consultations and require a valid referral and the relevant new-patient/24-month criteria. Review examples use items 91828, 91829 or 91830; the applicable item depends on the service delivered, duration, referral and attendance limits. Rebate examples reflect MBS fees updated 1 July 2026. A valid referral alone does not guarantee eligibility. Estimated cost is the full fee less the example rebate, not the upfront payment. Rebates can change.
